OK, I've programmed my remotes and the d/l actuated which is suppose to signal that the remote is programmed. When I try to open the door or anything with the remote nothing happens. Please help..Thanks

Sorry, Its a 1999 Acura 1.6el 4 door with the d16y8 motor.
They are almost exactly the same as a 1999 civic but badged Acura in Canada.
When I first got the car the keyless worked OK. Recently it stopped working. I thought it was the remote so I changed the battery and reprogrammed it. Went through the sequence and had the door locks cycle on and off to confirm that the remote was programmed. I then get out of the car and push the unlock or lock and nothing happens. Could it be the module? Is it located by the steering wheel? Any help is greatly appreciated

Is this a stock key-less entry system?
If so , do the door locks work properly without the remote?
If so, I would say its the key-less entry module, drivers kick panel, [white]. 94

Then my guess is the door lock module is N/G, it is receiving the RF signal from the remote, just not from the RF section to the door lock control section. 94
