Compustar alarm door issue?
I have a 2w900FMR alarm. Everything works perfectly except one small detail.
The doors on the brain are reversed. When doors are shut, the brain thinks they are open, and vise versa. It isn't the car door switches, since the car it self registers that they are open/closed correctly.
Anyone know how to "reset" compustar alarms? I tried calling them, but they refer me to a local dealer for service. In which case, Audio Northwest is the only one here. They tell me I can only go through them if they installed it. And that they would charge me around 800$ labor to go through my system and install a new one.
I don't think I am going that route. Just hoping someone else has had this same issue or know how to get a replacement brain from Compustar.
Thanks!

The Compustar has, like most alarms a pos.(+) door input and a neg.(-) door input, if you connect a neg.(-) door trigger, [like most Honda/Acura have] to the pos.(+) door input, the alar will register like your is. 94
Having the "Ford" alarm positive input connected to the "All other cars including Honda" negative dome light lead will do that. The dome circuit goes positive when the doors are closed vie the dome light filament and negative vie grounded door switch when open.
Change to the negative door input should fix it.

I suppose I should have said this on my original post.
The car alarm worked perfectly before. The battery had died for some unknown reason and I recharged it with a trickle(sp) charger. After that its done this. So I know all the wiring and connections are correct where they should be.
