Default Keyless Entry

I just installed my new pioneer deck and now my keyless entry won't work. What wrong with it?

what year Civic do you have? 6th gen? The keyless entry unit is in the radio chassis. That is why I used to sell the Alpine Changers to 6th gen Civic owners.

I got out of the car stereo business in 96... my info is only good up to then. Basically look on the back of your old stock radio. There might be two places for the harnesses to plug into. My guess and experience is one harness is for the radio and the other is for the keyless entry.

Just plug your old radio back in and see if the keyless entry works.

you must have a G6 Civic... anyway when you took your old radio out there went your keyless entry and domelight...the white (larger) harness is for the stereo and the green security plug is for keyless and security... I heard theres pigtail harnesses so that you can power both your old head unit (hidden in the dash) and have the security plug in and have wiring for your new head unit ..you can also just get an alarm w/ keyless and forget about using the stock keyless... then you have a security system also..

LOL honda gets a 4 cylinder engine to 8400rpm, and then installs keyless entry modules in the radio...priceless.
