Default JL Subs

I have two JL 12W3v2 subs in a sealed box from a Tahoe I owned. What size/brand amp should I use for these? Would I need to upgrade the OEM headunit or can I use it also? Thanks

How about a JL 500/1, and yes you could use the oem HU, you will need a "LOC", [speaker to rca level adpt.] an adjustable one would be best 94

I would agree with fcm about the amp but you do not need the LOC with a JL 500/1. The JL amps will take a speaker level input as long as its deck power.
