Default jl audio subs

ok guys iam looking for a sub for my hb 92 cx dont want to go with a 12 cause its to heavy so i want a 10inch...... the thing is i got an awsome deal on an 8 inch jl audio w7 sub, is it worth picking it up? or should i just get a 10 inch w6 sub? wich one should i get, iam not trying to get mad bass but something with a lil kik wich one would u guys get?

what kinda amp should i get with it? what do the class e and d amps mean? and are they worth buying to supply the sub and my speakers with power?

ive got a 10w7 and a 500/1 and its freakin awesome...the only bad part is that the box takes up so much room...i have it in a 95 accord, but it is top notch quality JL is the best

Not totally sure on this one but the 8W7 probably weighs close to the same as the 10W6. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also the box for the 8 will probably weigh more depending on how it is build.

i agree. the size of the sub isnt the only thing that affects the weight. theres plenty of 10's out there that weigh more than 12's and lots of 12's that weigh more than 15's.
