installing valentine 1 direct-wire in integra
Brand new, it comes with a lighter adapter <u>and</u> the wiring for a direct connection. I hooked the direct connect up to the fuse block and ran the wire up and under the A pillar cover so it's not seen. If you're looking for the pinout to the RJ11(?) connector the V1 uses, I can't help with that...
It's fairly straightforward once you have the parts in front of you. You need to find a good ground (IIRC there's one behind the stereo) and a key-on hot wire. The splicing thing that the kit comes with just clamps onto the hot wire and the ground, well, you ground it.
After that it's all a matter of where you put it and how you run the cables. The plastic around the windshield is relatively easy to remove, so you could run the cables through that.
