Installing cd changer difficult?
Accord came with a cassette deck and I didn't want to dump money into a nice cd player that thieves can see.
So I'm upgrading my cassette deck to a Pioneer and adding a Pioneer 6 or 12 (can't make up my mind) disc changer.
I can install the deck no problem, but never done a disc changer before. Other than running wires from the center console to the trunk, is everything plug and play? I'm also going to run RCA's and a remote cable to have ready for an amp in the future (less labor time to do it all at once).
I shopped around and most places want $50-$70 for install. Worth it with a lifetime installation guarantee, or DIY job?

If you get the CD changer to be dedicated, then there should only be one wire to run from the CD changer to the Pioneer deck. It'll only take you about an hour or hour and a half. Personally... I'd do it myself.
Runnin the wires to the back isn't too hard. Try doin it urself, worst case if u can't do it, then u can always go somewhere and have them do it.
