Default Install Question/Problem

Next week I am scheduled to go get my RSIII Matrix remote star/alarm/keyless installed. But recently, I went in to a basketball game, and when I came out my key would go in the hole but would not turn. The power locks work fine from the inside though, or I can get in through the passenger door. I think its possible its just frozen, but I also noticed a few scratches around the keyhole that were not there. I was thinking other possibilites might be A) Someone tried breaking in and broke the lock inside (I know there would be easier ways like smashing my window) or B) Someone with the same car as me thought it was thiers and jammed the key in and messed it up. I am hoping its just frozen, its 2 days later and the weather is still cold. My question is: if I dont get a chance to fix it, will this interfere with the install, or will I be ok?

Most likely it will not affect the install. As long as your power door locks work ok still, then the alarm's keyless entry part will not be harmed. Let me know if you have any other questions about that alarm
