Anyone here install a remote keyless entry system on a car that doesn't have power door locks, like a CRX, anyone know a good brand to go with if you're going to do it yourself?

 

i installed my keyless entry at the same time i installed my alram

 

most people install it with their alarm system...i have a viper alarm setup with keyless entry...i would just take it to a place its not that expensive and if you do it yourself it gets F'd up if u mess one thing up.

 

I'm working on installing my own. If you choose to do it yourself I can take some pictures to show you how I mounted the actuators since that is the most annoying part.

cool pic...i did my car over the summer(its real simple)...just one thing i noticed is that your bends of the rods were a lot sharper than mine..i wonder if this will cause problems later(acuator failure).

 

wow that's pretty different then my acuaters....well where it is i mean
my acuaters are about 1 inch from the lock rod
they have no wierd bend in them
