idatalink...
Is any1 familiar with these?
Im looking to install an alarm in a tsx & I read about using people using this.
It looks like this allows you to not have to run a bunch of wires.
They hook into this instead.
Has anyone done a stealth install on a tsx b4?
I have 2 under my belt but they were both civics...
This tsx has me worried.
Im not use to dealing with immobilizers & stock alarms.
Can stock alarms be bypassed completely instead of disarming/arming thru an aftermarket one.
What would be the disadvantages of doing that?

The install will not be much diff.
You will not need to deal with the immobilizer, [unless your installing a remote start] as it is controlled by the transponder in the key.
"idatalink" or any unit like it, we use the Fortin CAN-SL2, it will cut down on a lot of wiring.
The CAN-SL2 allows us to connect up...
Alarm Disarm
Alarm Rearm
Door Lock
Door Trigger
Door Unlock
Hood Pin Output
Rear Defrost
Trunk Pin Output
Trunk Release
Plus other things for remote start, one lead from the CAN-SL2 connects to the cars data-bus port, you will still need to connect powers, ground, siren and light flash.
