keyless entry
mistaken posted this on the integra forum but it belongs here. i was looking to get keyless entry for my teg. whats the simplest one to buy and what is involved in installing it?
Pick up an Audiovox one, dependable and inexpensive,
If you have an aftermarket alarm or you are going to install one, then you can just get the door lock kit and use the alarms RF for key-less, or you can get just the actuators and a pr of SPDT relays
This is their 2 door central locking system... http://www.audioallies.com/get...ys=FR A little harder to install because of the 5 wire actuators, but it is pretty much plug and play for the wiring and it turns the stock door lock levers into door lock "switches", locking or unlocking either door with lever or key will lock and unlock both doors, it has inputs for an aftermarket alarm, remote start or key-less entry module.
If your car already has power door locks, all you need is an alarm, remote start or key-less entry module, Audiovox also make them.
