need help audio
i just recieved my amp from sonicelectronix.com. i order a 500/1 amp. hooked everything up. not sound is coming out of the speakers. there;s power to the amp. i have 3 rca's wires that i tried. still no sound and no bass. soo I was wondering did anyone else have this problem.
WTF is with all of these non-descript threads lately?
To the OP, you'll need to provide DETAILS if you want our help...
I like how you felt it necessary to tell us where you bought it from but failed to tell us make & model of the amp and exactly how you wired the sub...
Also, you suck at making titles... Specifics would help there, too...

I say look into this
http://sonicelectronix.com/warranty_policy.php
If its a dud you have to take it up with them. Jl will be no help with you. Also if you look it said to have it installed by a shop with reciept
"Alarm / Amplifier Installation:
Due the difficulty of installation, car alarms and amplifiers may only be warranted if installed professionally.
Proof of installation may be required for warranty claims."
You have to look before you buy. I would ship it back asap and hope for the best.
Now do a run down of your install. Are the rca's plugged up to the source unit? I seen this happen alot. Hell I done it myself twice
Is the amp getting a full 12-14 volts to the power wire ? Check the fuse holder. It could be the famous agu fuse holder problem. There is a sticky above about fuse holders. Soon it will have propper power wire added to it. Also make sure the ground is correct. If not it will pull ground through the rca's and make you think its on by turning on the remote amp on light. Same as with 12 volts. Hell did you make sure the subs are connected in the box. Thats anothor noob mistake. If none of this work I say the amp is dead. I never seen a jl amp not work right out the box. But hey I know it can happen.
