Default I need help.

WEll the problem is, I just bought a rockford fosgate amp umm i think it's 100watts max. I wanted to use it to run my bazooka 8" tube. How come I'm not getting enough power to thump it so it'll sound good?? cuz it's totally weird from other amps. Normal amps have three connectors besides the speaker connectors.. 1 for power, 1 for ground , and the other for remote. this one has two connecters for ground and power, but for the remote.. it has a totally different looking connector. How do i hook this up.. and also, I bought this RF amp kit 10 gauge for it it came with 10 gauge power and ground, but the remote wire is like totally small.. probably something like 18 or 20 gauge.. way small. could that be the problem too?? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead.

The amp remote only carries a small amout of current...just enough to tell the amp to turn on. I believe that those need to have a female disconnect solderless terminal to hook up the amp remote. So long as the amp turns on, the amp remote isn't a problem
