I just picked up a sony 800 watt amp and a sony 10 inch sub. The amp is hooked properly but im not getting any sound out of the sub. The amp powers on and everything just can't get any sound out of amp. Any ideas or suggestions?

...u sure u got everything wired right..? rca and everything in were it suppose to be?
subw on in the headunit menu?

 

Yup everythings hooked up right. The ground is grounded, the power to the battery, rca to the rear out, and input in on the amp. The remote wire was not turning on the amp so for testing purposes i jumped it from the power to remote on the amp. Positive and negative from sub to amp. All fuses are good.

Anything I'm missing?
