Hey guys, I recently bought a Alpine SWR-1222D 12" Subwoofers Dual 2 ohm in a ported box with a Rockford Fosgate T500-1bd 500 Watt Class-bd Mono Amplifier. the RMS for the Alpine sub is 500W and the amp is 500W. Do you think this is enough wattage to cause headlight dimming in my 07 civic? Should i get a capacitator?

 

Yes it is, a cap will help but only an upgraded alt. can give you more current. 94
