ok here is my problem, this morning i went to disarm my alarm and i did not here the siren. i go inside my car then arm it.(still no siren) but i here a clicking from the brain. my car starts if its armed and if i press the panic button, the siren works.
the led light is not blinking, its steady when the ignition is off. i bought the car with the alarm already in it. its a viper 350hv.
also, if i hit the valet button 10 times, the siren makes a sound but still does the samething, it will not arm or disarm itself and no siren.

Sorry, your definitely in valet, there are two ways to get into and out of valet, one is with the ign. key, it was explained to you, but I will do it again, turn key on to run, [not start] then off again, within 10 sec. press and release the valet/program switch/button one (1) time, that's once as in, press and release and don't touch it again.
You can also do it with the remote, open door, press and release the lock/unlock button, one time then pres and release the AUX button, one time then press and release the lock/unlock button again, one time.
The multiple presses of the valet switch/button is only used to turn off the alarm without the remote, turn on ign. leave it on, within 15 sec. press and release the valet switch the preprogrammed number of times, factory default is one but can be programed for up to 5 times
It sounds like you do not have an owners guide for you alarm... http://www.directeddealers.com...5.pdf download and print it out.
