Default Help new to car audio!!

Ok I have a car that when i bought it, it already had a system in it.

Its somekind of bazooka tube.
The guy installed it professionally.
So the tube i guess already has a amp built into it.

So I guess it already has all the wires you need.

I have a 12 inch kicker subwoofer and an alpine amp i want to put in.

But theres 2 sets of cords going into the tube.

one that dsiconnects with like a clear clip and the other looks "built in"

idk what the heck im doing.

the last words of your descriptions should answer your question. you dont know what your doing. take it to a respectable shop.

your power wire might not be sufficient enough for the amp so upgrading all your wiring would be a good idea. depending on your model of car and what audio equipment your putting in upgrading your charging system might be a good idea as well so.

take pics, get model numbers of your products that are currently installed and what your wanting to install. the models should be on the subs and amps somwhere, could be right on the top or bottom of sub and amp.
