Icon2 Help is my amp affected shorted????

Hi i got a question quick one.

Today i took out the neg 4 gauge wire and near the positive power wire on the amp and i accidentally made a spark on the positive terminal.

it had a little spark and made only a very small burn on the positive wire, no fuses were blown.

i dont know if its internally shorted am i safe??? i tested my amp again to max if it made power and sounds weaker or is it just my mind if it made less power???but it sounds same

just to be sure do you think my amp is affected???

Amp should not have been affected as the short was before the amp.
However, if amp was on at the time you disconnected the ground the signal returns, [signal grounds] can be damaged, normally in the HU, as the amp will get it's ground from wherever possible, so if the amps ground is removed all that is left is the signal grounds through the RCA cable. 94
