Default Sub wired correctly?

Had a sub and an amp layin around so i figured id throw it in the teg. got everything wired up correctly, 2 red and white rcas out of the head unit to chanel 1 and 2 on the amp, remote from HU to amp, power from battery with fuse, grounded to the chasis. the amp is a 4/3/2 channel and im only running one 10" off of it. should i wire both channel 1 and 2 to the pos and neg terminals on the speaker? currently the sub isnt working in my car, the amp is on, but no sound from the sub.

already changed the rca cables around but still didnt hear anything. how should i wire the sub because i have to have it off 2 channels because thats how the rcas hook up to the amp, either chanel 1 and 2, or channel 3 and 4.

the sub works when connected to home reciever though so i know its working
