Default help me with this setup

well all i need is help with or answer myt question the problem is that where do i connect the cap too ok here the setup 4 gauge wire 12 from the battery then to a 40amp fuse in a holder then 18 feet to a distributor block 1 4 gauge in and two 8 gauge out connected to the amp so where do i connect the capacitor to and do i have to cut line well can someone draw me a picture or is there a web site thanks peeps..

The cap would go on the power and ground wires at most 18 inches from the amp. So mount the amp and the cap next to each other. Then, run your two 8 gauge power wires from the amp to the cap. Do likewise with the single ground wire. Then, run the 2 power wires from the cap to the distribution block, and the ground wire, also from the cap, to the chassis.

Either split the 8 gauge wires from the capacitor, or use the cap on only one amp.

runnin a 250by 2 kicker kx amp and a xtreme amp 300by 2 amp 300 by two runnin my higha and the 250 by 2 runnin my sub

well. generally, the power cap will be placed "on" the subwoofer amplifer.

with your setup.. i see no need for a power capacitor to begin with.
