ok my mind is finally set on a kicker solobalrics the L7 model and i wanted to know if i can get a rockford fosgate 1500 watt amp to power these 2 subs would they be able to handle the full 1500 watts as u can tell i dont know **** about audio lol?

 

Yeah, you'll be fine! The L7 is rated at 1000w rms. If you hook up two of them in parallel into a 1200 w amp you still got plenty to be safe...the Q is,are your ears safe?

How many? One or two? If you're getting two, you still good.

 

I have 1 10" L7 in a vented box in my 98 2 door civic with a kicker 600.1 class d amp and it is insanely loud. I think 2 12"s might be overkill considering you could just power the one sub with that amp and pound the snot out of it. just my opinion you can do whatever you want. I would also recommend kicker amps for kicker subs. rockfords have a tendency to blow channels a lil too easy. regardless an L7 will pound

 

Remember that Fosgate amp IS NOT pushing 1500 amps. You'll be lucky to get 40% of that. You're probabaly looking at about 1/3 power meaning 500ams (continuous) but you will however get some nice peaks in there...
