Default Help Car beeping.

Ok, I have a 97 dx hatch with a clifford securtiy system and two way with the power locks and such.

About a month ago we had this really loud thundr boom{idk if this is a coincidence}

after that a couple hours later the car would just beep and the two way would beep. it did this for a while so i figured the car would just need to be ran for a few. I open up the door and it smelled like water. Sure enough behind the driver seat was a big *** puddle.

Icleaned it out and drove it. seemed to be fine. then it starts up again. so we disconnected the battery for a few days and it was fine. And now it does it in random cycles. Mabey a few hours then beep as little to a minute.

Right now its got the battery disconnected in my garage.

Any ideas? please help. its driving me nuts.

Well it did sit out in the hard rain for the nonstop thunderstorm of two days, without being drove.

Not to sound stupid but is that the little black box under the hood with the alarm name on it?

How much to replace?

Its weird cause if the car is drivin for a good while it stops for like a week.

If the "black box" with the name on it is under the hood then that is a problem, alarm brains are not supposed to be installed under the hood, they must be installed in a dry place away from excessive heat, and that's not under the hood. 94

BTW, what is the model of the alarm?
and that's not just the alarms siren under the hood your
looking at, is it?

I really have no experience with alarms, the previous owner installed it, andh e owns the local peed shop around here.

After thinking about it i think its the siren thats under the hood like you said, and its a clifford alarm system.
