Default help with audio channels (?)

hey i just bought a del sol, it came with an alpine 6-disc cd changer in the trunk, connected to an alpine stereo in the dash...

something strange is happening! when i play a CD, i will only hear the vocal track on the RIGHT channel. the instruments play at normal volume on the left, and on the right I have instruments and voice. This happens with all cd's, in all the trays. It does not happen with radio or tape deck.

I know nothing about installing or wiring car stereos and I am not going to attempt to fix this myself. Probably. I just wonder if anyone out there might know what causes this, before I take it into a stereo place and try to believe what they are telling me

any ideas???

Honestly before u take it to someone, I would just unplug the cd changer and get it to reset itself. You would be suprised how many times ive done that to peoples radios after they start doing something strange like that and it works fine after that.
