Default broken sol stereo

Hey everyone, so I bought my sol about 4 years ago. The stereo had some intermittent problems back then: the headunit would randomly turn itself off for a few minutes every so often. Then when it turned back on, it would not see the cd changer. Then eventually it would "reboot" and find the cd changer.

So I bought a new headunit a couple years ago. Then the in dash cd and radio would not play any audio. They receive input signals (it will read the cd info, and the equalizer bars move up and down when it is playing) but there is no audio.

Now, the cd changer is not recognized at all, and the in-dash cd and radio still do not work. So I have no way to play music

When I bought the car, the owner had a series of amps and a capacitor installed in the system. Could one of the amps have just died? is there a way to check that with a voltmeter? Any other ideas?
