Headunit / Speaker problem
I was driving back from work today and randomly, sometimes the front speakers would cut out. Going to the gas station, sometimes the front driver's side speakers would cut. Would this most likely be a problem with the headunit or wiring harness?
Could be either, but I'm leaning toward a speaker grounding out. You'll need to pull each speaker and make sure the wires (going to the terminals and the leads from the terminals into the speaker) are not touching the door frame...
Check that first.
Check that first.
Would a speaker grounding out cause the entire front to lose sound? So far I've had these three things happen:
-no output front speakers
-no output front left
-i dont think my front left tweeter has been working at all, very light static noise
-no output front speakers

Head unit - make/year?
I had a honda head from 1990.. die out on me..
it just did not provide enough power one day...to the pass speaker..causing distortion.. and eventually ruining that speaker...
