Headunit

I have an alpine cda-9835 headunit and sometimes the screen will start to flicker, even when the volume isn't on. And this ONLY happens to the HU nothing else, all the other lights are fine.

Does it flicker on and off or bright to dim?

It goes bright to dim

You have a lose connection on one of the orange wires (sometimes there are 2) coming out of your headunit. This wire is for the dimmer switch. Try unhooking it altogether and see what happens.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but it still is flickering, and now the music cuts out every once in a while for about 1-2 seconds then comes back fine... Why?
