Default Head Unit Install

I picked up my '03 civic Si last friday and got a new head unit for it.

Is there anything I should know before I try to tear the dash apart to install it? Or is there somewhere that would have step by step instructions for taking everything apart? I can figure it out, but any info that will make it easier is appreciated. I found these directions in another post for a '00 Si, are they similar for my car?

1-remove paneling below the steering wheel. (3-philips)
2-remove glove box. ( 2-8mm) Or you can squeeze it until it falls below the bump stops.
3-remove center piece w/12v outlet (5-philips and 1-8mm)
4-locate and remove 4 8mm screws under the climate control cluster (ccc)
5-pull ccc out and remove all harnesses. At this point you will be able to totally remove this piece.

Also, should the pioneer DEH-P6500 fit with no problems? Crutchfield.com said that it was "easy" installation.

yeah I was the one who posted that and I can tell you that it won't work with your dash. Sorry but don't try those directons. The 6500 will fit too.

Go to http://www.k-series.com and the technical section. They have installation directions for the Si. I had to use em with my car and I still needed to do thinking on my own for it, since its a MASSIVE pain in the *** to do it. The two bolts holding the top half of the center console are on tighter then a 10 year olds ***. Took me about an hour just to get them off. Good luck, your gonna need it

Oh, I installed the 6500 as well
