Probably a dumb question but for an ek (98 spec) how do you put in the head unit? Do you have to take the whole center console out? Or can you just pull out the section with the climate control, radio, etc. (the black part of the dash)...

 

is it still a stock radio ? if so. remove the panel under the radio (above the cup holder) if i recall open the glove there is 2 phil screws there and i believe you have to remove the panel under the steering wheel(near your knees) so that you can see 2 more phil screws holding that panel in.
if its a stock radio its held down in the back with screws that you will have to remove first.
