Head Unit does not turn on
I have a 96 hatchback and I recently decided to put a new head unit in my car. The problem is that my old stock head unit didn't work when i got my car, the red security light would turn on and the blue light around the buttons, but that's it. So I plug my new head unit in and nothing, no power no nothing. What do you guys think the problem may be? I was thinking it maybe a fuse. or maybe its something else.
Please help me, i want to get it done asap. thanks

More info on "new" HU, [make and model], if not a stock HU was a harness adapter used?
Have you checked fuses, both of them, [acc. fuse, in under dash fuse box and 12V+ constant fuse in engine bay fuse box? 94

Turns out the metal thing in the acc fuse for the audio is broken. Hopefully that's the only thing wrong. And I'm not sure what you mean by the 12v+ fuse
