i have a apparent ground loop problem at low volume levels there is a high pitch noise i narrowed it down to my HU its strange because its hooked up the same way as the last deck and that one had no problems.....im going to rewire the deck tonight to see if that works besides that any ideas

 

Make sure all your wires especially speaker and RCA's are routed away from power and electric motors.

 

i had a ground loop problem in my 92 accord when i hooked my amp to my 6by9s tried everything to get rid of it talked to like 20 stereo installers all where no help finally went to Walmart and just happen to see a ground loop isolator witch no one happen to tell me where available noise is gone now and the isolator doesn't effect sound quality at all like the other filters id tried

 

Are you using the ground from the original, factory wiring harness, or did you ground the HU by itself? If you're using the harness ground, you might try grounding the HU separately.

 

i hard wired the stereo in the car but heres the catch i wired it exactly the same way i did my last one and now i have noise i re wired it tonight and now it sounds like a low alt whine but only at low volumes
