Default FCC ID keyless entry

I am thinking about getting a OEM keyless entry system for my 00 civic ex coupe. my question is that the FCC ID on the receiver box is A269ZUA123 and all i can find are remotes with the ID of A269ZUA106 and everywhere i look it says that the 00 civics use the fcc id ending in 106 so my question is will these work with each other or not? anyone know from experience either?

I googled almost the identical situation and found your question on Hond tech.

I also need the FCC ending in 123 and find the 106 available for my 1999 civic LX Sedan. Did you find a source for the 123 FCC or a compatible part to replace the old fob?
