My Transmitter Doesnt Work. It Blinks For Lock, Unlock, And Panic But The Car Doesn't Respond. And If The Car Is Messed With The Alarm Wont Go Off. It Only Goes Off If I Unlock The Back Seats. idk y. I'm Thinking That The Guy Gave Me The Wrong Transmitter For My Civic. Its A 00 Civic. Should I Get An Aftermarket Alarm Or Bring It To A Honda Dealer?

 

first off.. did you just get your car serviced or something at the dealer ? and who is "The Guy"? ... i would try asking "the guy" whats up with your alarm since im guessing he is the last person to have messed with your car.

 

Na It Hasnt Been Recently Serviced. But My Dad Had Bought The Car A Couple Of Months Ago From "The Guy" And Thass All I Kno Him As As Well haha. And I'm Sure The Guy Was Messin Wit The Car Cuz It Only Cost $2,500 wit 90K.

I Guess I'm Wondering If Anyone Knows How to Reset The Transmitter. So I Can Configure It With The Alarm In The Car.

 

I've never seen a "factory alarm" (which is really a DEALERSHIP alarm) worth trying to fix. The installation is crap and the hardware is crap. I rip them out every day. You can get a real alarm installed for $120.
