I had the Karr alarm remain installed on my 2010 Insight when I bought it almost 2 years ago. The alarm will go off spontaneously, and it seems to only happen when it is hot outside. In fact, it seems to only happen when it's hot AND the windows are all the way up (I've had the down for the past week with temperatures in the 80s-90s, but today they were up in about 88 deg. weather and the alarm went off). Most of the time I'm close enough to my car that I can take care of it. But there have been times when I've been at work, or elsewhere and was not near it, so it was going for a while. Once it turned itself off somehow without me doing anything. It's a pretty obnoxious problem. I don't want to be the person with "that" car. My previous car was also a 2010 Insight with Karr alarm and didn't have this problem. No bueno
