Default Extra channels in security systems?

I have a Clifford Cyber 3 brain controlled by a 12-channel remote. The Cyber 3 is pretty much a Viper system. It has room for 12 functions, and the remote is a 12 channel remote to control those functions respectively.

But I am really curious about something. I looked up the wiring diagram for the Cyber 3 brain and it shows the activation wire for only function 4. Is there some special trick that I need to do to get the most out of the other eight functions? This would really be helpful to know cause I got a few accessories coming from ebay that I would love to wire up ...

Thanks everyone!

I just checked Directed's site, and they only have install manuals online for the Cyber 2 and 4. But on those units, the accessory out wires are gray/stripe. But if there are only one or two gray/stripe wires coming off your brain, then I would assume that you'd need a channel expander to take advantage of the additional functions...

DEI's part number on the channel expander is 450t. It takes one spare output and turns it into 6. Pretty easy to install and program, too.

I just so happen to have one in my box at work that I could sell ya for $30 shipped priority. I bought it so I could add channels to an older Viper 550, but decided to upgrade and put a 791xvr in the car instead, so I never used the 450t; it's new in box with manual. Let me know if you're interested.

Oh yeah? That would be way cool! I only have a few bucks right now, but I'm working Saturday, so if I end up needing it, I'll give you PM!

Thanks for your help by the way!

So I took a look at the brain, and I saw two grey/stripe wires that are free. They are the channel 2/trunk and channel 4 triggers. With my googular skillz, I was finally able to find this image from a Czech site:

So yeah, it looks like I'm gonna need that module! I can't use PMs yet, so please email me at synthead1@comcast.net. Oh, and that's $30 with shipping included right? I would be able to pay you via money order, so please include your name and address with the email, thanks!
