Doesn't the ecu have two power sources? The main and a backup?

If you have a viper alarm or keyless, you can use the alarm to trigger this....use the orange wire (its grounded when armed) and hook it up to a relay that breaks the constant to the ecu power...i dont know the pin out to the ecu but you might be able to find that at allmotorhonda.com...good luck...PM me if you have any questions

If you disconnect the constant power to the ECU, wouldn't that reset it every time you arm it?

never thought about it that way..hmmm

I guess it would.......well if there is 2 power sources if I cut on then the other works correct?? but are both connected to the same fuse?? cuz if I pull the fuse out to reset my ecu then it should stil have the back up power correct??

Hmm, makes me think if this is possible or not...

Unless you access to 12v relays it will be a lot easier to buy the kit...

$25 shipped anywhere in the US.
$25 is worth saving your car.

fuel pump kill is also very good... i have that along with ecu kill triggered by my alarm....althought i dont think anybody has tried to steal my car...it would deter them enough to where they would just do minor damage...
