Default Eclipse Subs need help..

Well guys this is my 2nd pair of subs erg =[. The 1st time i had 2 pairs of 10" subs they went out one by one so i went to the dealer we shipped it to eclipse, they sent me new ones. The 1st time what happened to the subs was one of the wires on each of the subs snapped off so im not sure what happened there but i got new ones so its cool. I exchanged the new 10"s and paid a little more for the 12"s. I opened up the box today and i checked all the wires they were all in just fine.. Um when i push on it in the middle really hard its smooth i heard when its blown it has alot of friction or something. Um the box smell smelt iono kinda wierd like eletrical maybe a burnt smell maybe im just saying that cause im assuming its blown or dont wanna believe it is but ya. Also theres no holes or anything so ya. And plus when i turn on my car it bumps for like 2 seconds then shuts off .. =[ im sad and mad expletive man i hate this kind **** well guys thanks in a hurry help out =]

Did the 12" speakers you got look new?

When you say "I opened up the box today" do you mean the sub box?

A burnt smell normally means the VCs on the subs are burning, and that is not good.

I need more info.......

Makes and model of all the equipment, [HU, amp, and subs], and how do you have the subs wired, [parallel or series]? 94
