Default Problems with my setup..please help..

i have a precision power pcx2125 amp, its 500watts max, and i bought a polk momo 12 inch subwoofer last year and it blew, got another one and it blew.. the polk momo is 1000watt max, 500rms, whats going on here?.. they didnt blow right away, they worked fine, but just decided to blow one day.. same on both... and i got the right box for it... q-logic .88 dimension box?.. thats what they recommended.. anyhow.. what do you guys think?.. get another polk momo? or what sub do you recommend for my enclosure+amp?.. i realllllllly need some info on why my subs have been blowing.. TIA

wuts the ohm of the subs? check all ur wires and make sure none of them touch each other. i wouldnt really know unless i c it. second, i ran a pcx 2125 and it sucks. i was using them on 2 diamond audio m6's 800 watt rms. i was under powering them and the piece of chit amp blew. im now running arc audio 1500dr, and i love the amp, it is honestly the chit

i believe the sub is 4ohm, is that right to match it with the pcx2125?.. sorry im not much of a sound system expert.. anyhow, yeah the amp would be weak if it had to power 2 800rms subs because it is 500max alone, i use the single amp to power a single sub which worked out great and sounded clean, but i just want to know what went wrong, thanks for the input
