Ive just recently noticed posts where DVC subs have two sepearte sets of terminals (each with a + and -) to hook up each coil. i took a look at my eclipse 12 inch aluminums and they only have 1 set of terminals.

Does anyone know if the eclipse are hooked up to run both coils off of one terminal or am i supposed to add another one to run the other coil?

Re: Eclipse Aluminums (EGPrelude)
ur subs are just single voice coil. they were made with only one voice coil and not 2.

Re: (EGPrelude)
They come in both single vc and dual vc.
You have a choice.
I went with DVC just cause it gives me more flexibility.

are the power handling of the SVC and DVC the same? what type of flexibility does the DVC offer over the SVC

It offers flexibility in the sense that I can treat it like 2 subs since it has two coilsl in regards to my wiring options.
So in your situation.
You would not give a rats *** about not having a DVC.
Just leave it at that.
