Default Downsizing Size Upsizing Sound

I have dual 12" Kicker Comp VR's in a sealed enclosure and it's just taking up too much space in my teg. I am looking for a single 10" that can put out just as much or more than this setup. I was looking into a w7 but that's really all I know, it's been a while since I was 16 and in the local audio shop all the time.

Kicker is good, but anything that claims 5000 watts... why would you even want 5000 watts?

You don't need anything crazy. Just match the amp's RMS to the sub's RMS, use a good box, and you're set.

I'd get an Alpine Type R and a 2 CH amp that does 500 Watts continuous @ 4ohms, put it in a 10 inch sealed Q logic box. Do not use a cheap box.

There are cheaper set ups that could sound just as good, but you get the idea here.

I would recommend a 10w6v2 or a 10w7 with a JL 500/1 amplifier depending on your $$ situation, they pack a punch for their size. I have a 12w7 in the 500/1 slash amp in my ej8 and it rocks hard as hell
