Trying to match amp with sub - help please
What is a decent (and inexpensive) amp that would work well with a 10" JL W0 8 enclosed sub? The box is 3/4" particle board box and size is 12"x14" base - 12" high - slants to a 9.5"x14".
8 ohm -
125 watt RMS - 250 watt Peak
I know that the box should be made out of MDF, but my brother thinks he got a good deal on it and want to know what to push it with. Any suggestions? Is the box size correct?
Thanks.

Any company's entry level 2 channel would work
(Alpine - Zapco )..they should put out a bridged mode
of 150-225 watts...cost from $100-200.00.
Now this also gets you into the mono block amps too.
Think of what you want do with this system in the future
and plan for it.
