Good concept...I wonder if I could just get the locks and hook them up to my current alarm...they look like a simple concept...actuators move the lock into place controlled by a pulse signal from the module(which is basicly the reciever for the remote)

Know where I can get just the actuators?

might slow someone stupid down a bit, but if they are smart enough they are just climbing through the window they broke. Not a bad idea though, good for another layer of security

What if you lose your remote or your battery dies?

Seems like a good idea though

I'd like to see the police footage of that...
"step out of the vehicle'...long pause..."I can't the door is locked, the person I stole it off of has some sort of lock on the door"...

or it would be funny watching someone dismantle the car...having to drag everything out of the window...I wish it was legal to have wire renfored windows...sigh

Back from the dead, but you think you can wire it up to an extra channel on your existing alarm remote?

also i remember seeing a thread about a "homemade" version of this...but the search has turned up nothing.
