lol, i know this is perhaps the silliest request, but i have an idea for me and most people with "shaved" door handles...

now most people with shaved handles use door poppers and solenoids, however, over time (i plan on keeping my car for a while), the poppers may eventually give...there is a way to prevent this though.....DON'T USE THEM ALL THE TIME


my idea is simple, and i think it's very feasible......i need basically a remote kit (for alarm, start, universal, etc.) that will send a 12v current to my driver's side window (down) wire, therefore rendering the window down, so i can stick my hand in and open the door manually, thus, less stress on the door popper.

anybody ever tried it? i plan on starting the project next weekend

 

Thats not a bad idea. But they do make modules that will put your window down for you. It'd be alot safer and easier to do.

 

Yep http://www.crutchfield.com sells a few that will roll your windows down for you with your remote. I'm sure lots of other places sell them also I just saw them there.
