you dont need to port the box unless you know what you are doing...porting is used to increase the db at a certain frequency ..just used a sealed enclosure and always follow the specs of the manufacturer dont forget about displacement ,and if you go for the trunk just remember that back window rolls down

someone told me that if i ported directly behind the sub, about a half to a full inch away from it, it will create a vacuum and increase Decibals (with a cone)

Step 1: Remove the interior and trunk pieces
Remove all the interior and trunk pieces you don't want to be in your way. I chose to remove the center console, the rear paneling, seats (I recommend an impact wrench), and the paneling in the trunk. With all the interior out, I took advantage and swept up the dirt that had accumulated. Once you're satisfied with removing the interior and trunk pieces, head to the engine bay.

Step 2: Connecting the power cable to the battery
The first thing you want to do is disconnect the ground cable to cut the power to the vehicle. After doing that, remove the positive cable (be careful not to touch the negative terminal as cool as all those sparks may look) and take out the battery.
Once the battery is out, unbolt the screws holding in the fuse box and let it sit to the side. You should see a black grommet right behind where the fuse box was; pull it out and run the power cable through the interior and through the grommet (you may need a coat hanger for this like I did). Once you have that done make sure you have enough extra cable and put the grommet back into place.

Step 3: Running the wires through the interior
This part is mostly dependent on the imagination and supplies you have (zip-ties and duct tape were very helpful).
Run the power cable down the side under the carpet (when prying up the side paneling, Be very careful that you don't break the clips) and through the back wall to the amplifier (the coat hanger saved me a big headache here, as well).

For the RCA cable, I ran them down the driver's side just as I did with power cable on the passenger's side. Although the remote turn-on wire should've been ran with power cable, I haven't had any problems with it being with the RCA.

The speaker wires I ran down along the center console underneath the carpeting and through the rear wall.

Step 3: Mounting the amplifier
When I first mounted the amplifier, I just screwed it down to the floor mat; this worked, but wasn't very functional. So a while later, I mounted it vertically to the back wall.
If you want to mount it to the back wall, try the following. Make sure the window is rolled up to prevent the chance of drilling through the glass. Remove that ugly yellow foam and measure out where you need to put screws. Find some really long screws (maybe 2" long) and a corresponding drill bit size and put the holes in. Once that's done, mount the amplifier. Also, something I noticed was that the amplifier would come loose, so I took the screws out and wrapped some Teflon tape around them and it stays in place nicely.

Make all your connections to the amplifier.

Step 4: Connect and test
Finally, it's all installed, just need to do the final connections and try it out. Don't reinstall any paneling yet; try the system out and make sure it all works.
If everything checks out, reinstall everything you removed and enjoy the sound.
