Hey just wanted to posted some picss of del sol sub box i built last night i knoww its a hard car to make room for a sub open to comments or people that are interseted in doing a ssimalr setup like i said it kinda a weird car to do tunes in 8'helix sub with boxx hidding under driver side compartment wraped in leather
box coulda used some nicer finishes but i might lock that storage doos closed
mooking up top ring

really happy how it came out the leather wasn't an exact match because i'm inpatient the leather guy said he could order it but i didn't want to wait

Really great install and looking to do the same setup. could you share the dimensions of your box or maybe a drawing with dimensions so i can recreate it?

I wouldn't mind doing this in my del sol but if I'm going to hack up the storage compartment, I might as well make a custom box to replace the S/C. Plus, shallow subs in small sealed enclosures will not be as loud as a tuned, ported box.

Great work, nonetheless.....

To each their own I'm not looking for extremely loud just good low end bass notes. the 6.5" speakers aren't intended to handle much bass even if you upgrade them like i have.

It's of course one or another. If you have enough power it's still loud enough, and the cabine of a Sol is very small.
