how are these speakers? MB Quart RSC216
I need new components and was thinking these might be a better choice over the infinity 605cs

 

how much power are you sending them and with what amp.

I've got a 85 x 4 amp...amp is an US acoustics

 

I think infinity speakers are great on budget, however I'm assuming your getting these around the same price. In that case, MB Quart reference win hands down, better crossovers, better highs in comparison to the reference infinities and although similar power handling in spec, I'm sure the quarts could last longer.

A proper comparison would be between the 60.5 cs (kappas) and the reference line, in which case, it would be up to which set of highs you prefer, how low you'd be running them etc.

yes they are just about the same price...I figure the mb quarts would be a better speaker for the money....plus that is going from the current rockford components that I had gotten on a close out for only like 50 bucks....they were better than stock of course but they just dont have sound quality at all...

mb's are great spkrs but u need high wattage to get the best sound out of them. (low sensitivity)
