Default Which channel amp?

i have a slim 8" pioneer sub 500w max and a set of energy enc650cv speakers

size is a factor because i want to hide the amp inside the sub box and the sub itself is no more than 3" high.

price range 0-200

i was looking at the alpine mrp f300.

suggestions?

What is the continuous, [RMS] power handling of the speakers and the sub, max power does not mean a lot.

You can not install the amp inside the sub box, it needs air circulation for cooling. 94

Do you want to amp your speakers as well?
I wouldn't even mount an amp on the sub box much less in it. Electronic parts are fairly sensitive and the constant pounding from the sub is hard on them. Like fcm said, it will overheat if it doesn't have air cirulation.

your sub is 125w RMS... (NORMAL power) your speakers are 25W.

so.. your looking at maybe a 4 channel, 400w amp. wire each component to the respective 1&2 channels, bridge 3&4 on the sub. you should get maybe 50each speaker, and 100w to the sub.

so you want to recommend a amp for your 3 speakers.

that amp is 200 bucks on crutchfield.. but im sure it can be found cheaper online somewhere... also hiding it under a seat isn't that difficult at all.

45w each speaker, and 150w bridged at 4 ohms.. sound perfect for your setup.
