Default Cerwin Vega?

Does anyone have any opinions on these speakers? I'm trying to figure out if they are good for what i want. They are going to be run off of my head unit which provides 50 watts to each speaker. And i'm looking for something that will give me that extra bass without losing the mids and highs

What make/model deck do you have? Because I doubt that it puts out 50 watts per channel. 50 watts is a peak power rating. You're probably getting closer to 20 watts RMS.

Unless you're referring to the HED series of speakers, 20 watts isn't enough to power a subwoofer.

You sir, are a liar. How did you determine that your particular unit puts out 50w per channel if you're not sure of the model??

It 'blatantly' states PEAK power on it.

Look at the front of the deck, and post back with the model number.

my personal opinion is that they're towards the low end of the spectrum. They're not garbage but i can't say i like the sound of them. what is your budget??

My budget is pretty simple, probably around $100 for a pair but nothing to much more. I'm not looking for anything extravagant but I do want something that is an upgrade from the factory speakers.

The model is DEH-P3700MP, but I'm just looking for the car speakers and not the sub. So to correct myself from before it puts out 22w with a max of 50. How would that work with speakers that have a peak power handling of 50w?
