Default CD player question

I was taking my CD player out of my car and I was cutting the wires i think i cut two wires at once and i hear a pop. Im guessing the two wires were the memory and the power wires. Now my cd player wont get any power. I cant figure out what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

POP, the sound of a fuse blowing, have you checked both fuses, the radio fuse in the in car fuse box and the backup fuse, [7.5A] in the engine bay fuse box? 94

Also, don't some cd players have a fuse in the back of them? I know Sony ones do. You might want to check that to see if it's blown.

Cutting the acc. and constant power wires at the same time will not blow a fuse

[acc.] and white w/yellow or blue stripe, [constant] of the oem radio harness.
If you do not have power on the red and yellow wires of the HU harness, you must have a blown fuse, a bad connection, or you have miswired the harness.
If on the other hand you do have power at the HU plug then make sure, as prelude964 mentioned, that if there is a fuse under the plug, [must unplug the HU harness to see it] that it is good, if there is one and it is good, then you have shorted out something in the HU itself. 94
