Default cd player problems

ok so i just bought a 91 integra and the stock radio harness was cut and i have a jumper harness for the car. so i matched all the color wires up. started the car and all that happens is you can eject the disk. it dont light up or nothing. so my buddy gave me the same cd player to hook up and still the same thing so i pushed it into the dash and now it wont do nothing. i even checked ALL the fuses in the fuse box and there all good. and the one on the back of the cd player is good too. HELP PLEASE.

and i searched but nothing.

Did you check the fuses with a meter or did they just "look good"?

Did you check the radio fuse in the fusebox under the hood?
