Default are capacitors worth it??

i am planning on putting an xplod 760 watt amp with 2 6x9s and 2 10" subs. should i worry about killing my alt??? should i worry about buying a capacitor?? if so how big

You should get a 1 farad cap. Before I installed mine, my headlights would dim everytime my 2 10's hit and hit hard. After, my headlights don't anymore no matter how hard my subs hit.

I personally believe it is a great investment.

Don't even waste your money on a 1 farad cap. Your system won't even be sucking up much current. If your gonna buy a cap, put the money towards a svr or optima battery then see what happens.

You can get a pocket ***** that uses more power than that amp.

thats true, but caps stay charged when ur subs hits alot of times in a row.. and ur battery cant give a strong current all the time so the cap helps take some energy so that ur battery doesnt drain.. i put two 1 frad's on mine and it works just fine, with a normal WM battery..

I just put a 1 farad for my 600w bazooka and 200w alpine amp runnin my 2 tens and 6x9s and i love it and it really helped my bass response my amp works alot better now
